Healthy Chicken Parmesan: A Clean and Delicious Twist on a Classic

Chicken Parmesan is a beloved classic, and it’s surprisingly simple to make at home with a few high-quality ingredients. This healthier take swaps out processed options for cleaner, more wholesome choices—without sacrificing the crispy, cheesy goodness we all love.

For an extra layer of flavor, this recipe uses vodka sauce instead of traditional marinara. Trust me, once you try it, you’ll never want to go back! If you’re short on time, Rao’s Vodka Sauce is my go-to—it’s made with simple ingredients like tomatoes, olive oil, onions, garlic, basil, and oregano, without added sugars or excessive sodium like many store-bought sauces.

Why This Healthy Chicken Parmesan Stands Out

  • Gluten-Free Pasta: Choosing a gluten-free option, like Jovial’s organic brown rice pasta, keeps the recipe clean and simple. Made with just two ingredients—organic brown rice flour and water—it’s perfect for anyone looking to reduce gluten without compromising texture or taste.
  • Clean Breadcrumbs: Traditional breadcrumbs can be packed with sugar and artificial additives, but Paleo Powder breadless breadings are a game-changer. They’re designed for baking or air frying, delivering a perfectly crispy texture with wholesome ingredients.
  • Wholesome Sauce: Opting for vodka sauce adds a rich, creamy flavor to the dish, and using Rao’s ensures a clean ingredient list free of unnecessary additives.

The Benefits of Healthier Swaps

  • Cleaner Ingredients: Every swap in this recipe reduces exposure to unnecessary additives, preservatives, and processed ingredients.
  • Lower Sugar and Sodium: Rao’s sauce and Paleo Powder breadcrumbs ensure you’re not overloading on hidden sugars or salts.
  • Satisfying and Nutritious: With a balance of protein, fiber, and healthy fats, this dish fuels your body while keeping things delicious
