Some of the best snacks are the ones that come together with just a few real ingredients and a couple minutes in the kitchen. These peanut butter cereal bars are one of those recipes I keep on repeat because they’re simple, naturally sweetened, and perfect for an easy grab-and-go snack.
Made with crunchy cereal, creamy peanut butter, and maple syrup, these bars come together without any baking and set perfectly in the fridge. I love using clean-ingredient cereals like Lovebird or Seven Sundays because they keep the recipe simple while adding great texture and flavor.
They’re slightly chewy, perfectly sweet, and finished with a sprinkle of dye-free sprinkles for a little fun. Whether you need a quick snack, something to pack in lunches, or just want a better-for-you treat, these peanut butter cereal bars are one of the easiest recipes to make at home.

Peanut Butter Cereal Bars
Ingredients
- 3 cups Cereal (I like the brand Lovebird and Seven Sundays)
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Dye Free Sprinkles (for topping)
Instructions
- Use an 8 x 8 inch pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal or use a granola bar mold from Amazon.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, stir together peanut butter and maple syrup until smooth and combined. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- In a large bowl, combine the cereal and any mix ins (dye free sprinkles.) Pour the peanut butter mixture over and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Use a spatula to press the mixture firmly into the pan or granola bar mold. Press well so the bars hold together.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm. Slice into bars.
