My Favortie Brands to Use in this Recipe:

  • Organic Coconut Sugar: Organic coconut sugar is a fantastic alternative to granulated sugar for baking because it is less processed, retains more natural nutrients, and has a lower glycemic index. Unlike refined white sugar, which undergoes heavy processing and stripping of nutrients, coconut sugar is made by evaporating the sap of coconut blossoms, preserving its natural minerals like potassium, iron, zinc, and antioxidants. It also has a lower glycemic index, meaning it causes a slower rise in blood sugar levels, making it a better option for maintaining steady energy and reducing sugar crashes.
  • Organic Oat Flour: Oat flour is a great alternative to traditional wheat flour because it is naturally gluten-free, nutrient-dense, and provides a soft, slightly sweet flavor to baked goods. Unlike refined flours, oat flour is high in fiber, particularly beta-glucan, which supports gut health and helps regulate blood sugar levels. It also contains beneficial nutrients like protein, iron, and antioxidants, making it a more nourishing choice.
  • Enjoy Life Choclate Chips: Enjoy Life is a great chocolate chip brand for baking because it is free from common allergens, made with high-quality ingredients, and contains no artificial additives. Their chocolate chips are free from dairy, soy, gluten, and nuts, making them a safe choice for those with food allergies or sensitivities. They use simple, clean ingredients like sustainably sourced cocoa, ensuring a rich, smooth chocolate flavor without unnecessary fillers or emulsifiers.
