big mac salad

This Big Mac Salad is my clean, meal-prep-friendly take on the fast-food classic but made with real, nourishing ingredients your body will thank you for. I use grass-fed ground beef from Force of Nature, crisp organic romaine lettuce, and all the classic fixings like cheddar, pickles, and a creamy “special sauce” that’s made with clean pantry staples. It’s hearty, flavorful, and completely guilt-free perfect for prepping ahead for a week of satisfying lunches or dinners that taste like comfort food, without the junk.

What I love most about this recipe is how it captures all the flavors of a Big Mac in a bowl that actually fuels you. The grass-fed beef adds a rich, nutrient-dense protein source, while fresh organic veggies bring in crunch and color. And that dressing? It ties everything together with the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and a little sweet just like the original, only made with better-for-you ingredients.

This salad also holds up really well for meal prep, which makes it a go-to when I’m planning out our week. I’ll usually cook a big batch of the beef, prep the veggies, and keep the dressing in a small jar to drizzle right before serving. It’s one of those recipes that makes eating clean easy, satisfying, and so delicious you’ll forget it’s actually good for you.

My Favorite Brands to Use in This Recipe:

  • Grass Fed Beef Ancestral Blend — combines grass-fed ground beef with nutrient-dense organ meats like liver and heart, creating a powerhouse source of iron, B vitamins, and essential minerals. Unlike conventional beef, it’s raised on regenerative farms without hormones or antibiotics, supporting both your health and the environment. The result is cleaner protein that nourishes on a deeper level, helping your body rebuild and thrive from the inside out.
  • Organic Vegetables– Organic produce is grown without synthetic pesticides or GMOs, preserving natural nutrients and flavors while reducing exposure to toxins. Opting for fresh, organic vegetables ensures you’re getting the cleanest, most nutrient-dense ingredients in every bit.
