Wild-Caught vs. Farm-Raised Salmon: Why It Matters

When choosing salmon, wild-caught is the better option for both health and sustainability. Wild salmon is higher in omega-3s and lower in toxins like PCBs and antibiotics, which are commonly found in farmed salmon. Additionally, wild salmon grows naturally in its environment, leading to a leaner texture and richer flavor compared to farm-raised, which is often fed unnatural diets. Opting for wild-caught salmon supports sustainable fishing practices and ensures you’re getting the most nutrient-dense fish possible.
